Cause

The Fort Nelson Motocross Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and raises money to help maintain the track, track equipment, community trails and hosts several free events to the community throughout the year.

The club also funds other recreational sports, like free swim days for the community and new this winter, worked with the ski club to create a cross country skate ski course at the track.

The Club hosts a Peace Motocross Association race annually and will be held July 8th/9th this year. The race has unique custom trophies, holeshot prizes, a cash race and just before drawing the winner of the FC250 at 8PM, we will be giving away a 2022 Honda CRF110, purchased through recycling bottles (no tickets available, entry for volunteers in Fort Nelson).

The motocross track is located along the Alaska Highway, is British Columbia’s most northern motocross track and serves the peace region, as well as the Yukon. Riders passing through Fort Nelson or visiting are always welcome to ride at the track. If you plan on coming for the race, it is well worth a visit to the museum or take more time to visit the Liard River Hot Springs or fish the many rivers and lakes.
